Easily identified by its squat torso, jutting head, and broad chest, the Masakari quickly became notorious to Inner Sphere MechWarriors for its firepower and accuracy. Because it is an assault-class 'Mech, the honor of piloting a Masakari is reserved for only the most skilled, elite Clan pilots. Often disparagingly referred to as the "apartment building that walks like a man", the Masakari is nevertheless feared for its ability to utterly incinerate smaller 'Mechs with a single alpha-strike.
