Catapult

The Catapult is normally classified as a close-support 'Mech, designed as a second-line defense with strong offensive capabilities. Early models of the Catapult carried no close-support weapons, but the most recent variations carry multiple lasers for just that purpose. It is at its most effective when used as a stand-off weapon with its long-range missle racks firing at maximum range.
